Dave Chappelle had one hell of a party to celebrate his 44th birthday and 30-years of being in showbiz with several of his celeb friends, including Mos Def, Doug E. Fresh and more. Get into the party pics inside…
Turn up!
Dave Chappelle is happy as hell these days. He just celebrated his 44th birthday, this year marks his 30th year in showbiz, AND he just recently wrapped up his “Dave Chappelle: Live From Radio City” residency that concluded on his actual birthday (August 24th).
To celebrate, a star-studded crowd gathered to celebrate the one and only Dave Chappelle at TAO Uptown for an unforgettable evening presented by Tanqueray Number TEN. As Dave was presented with his custom Tanqueray birthday cake, he was joined on stage by his wife, Elaine. He professed his love for her, calling her the love of his life. Aww!
Several of Dave’s celeb friends hit the stage to rock out for the big homie’s birthday, including Mos Def, composer Renee Neufville, Doug E. Fresh and Bone Crusher:
Looked like it was LIT.
Before the party started...
On his way inside Radio City, Dave rocked a Colin Kaepernick t-shirt to show his support. He's standing with Kaep.
Fellow comedian D.L. Hughley brought his daughter Tyler Hughely as his +1 for the shindig.
Prima ballerina Misty Copeland -- the newest face of Estée Lauder -- kept it cute in a LBD.
Funnyman Michael Blackson posed it up alongside Mialenny Santos before heading inside.
DJ Premier, Cipha Sounds and David Blaine were in the mix to party it up.
Comedian Hannibal Buress stepped out to show his comedy buddy love.
Warner Bros. Records Recording artist Gary Clark Jr. also came out for the fun.
A few days ago, Dave was honored by NY Governor Andrew Cuomo (who wasn't actually in attendance) for his contributions to our artistic and cultural heritage. Check it:
Congrats Dave!
