Future is still pressed over Jay Z’s money phone lyrics. He hopped on Twitter to fire a subliminal after Hov tried to explain what he meant about the money phone in his rare podcast interview. Deets inside…

Future is still pressed over Jay Z’s lyrics on the track “Story Of OJ.”

On the 4:44 track, Hov rapped, “Y’all on the ‘Gram holdin’ money to your ear / There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here”.

Future, Lil Boosie, Drake and othersresponded shortly after Hov’s 4:44 album was released, posting up pictures of themselves holding money up to their ears and video responses.

During his rare podcast with Rap Radar, Hov was asked about the lyric where he revealed holding a wad of money to your ear for a social media selfie shouldn’t be the end all, be all in life. Life is much bigger than that.

“I didn’t even tell people to stop using the money phone.  I didn’t say that. I had to listen again like ‘How is this being misinterpreted?’ because I just said it ain’t money to us. It ain’t, that’s just an honest statement. Money to us, me and my three friends on the floor at Golden State, not because the seats are expensive but because that’s what we’re doing, you’ve never seen that. Or, building brands and pushing it forward.

That can’t be the end all, that can’t be our goal, to get money and show it on the internet. That can’t be our goal, that’s some corny shit.”

We'd have to agree.

Well, the Atlanta rapper decided to respond (subliminally) to Hov again, tweeting:

We're surprised he didn't come at Jay's neck for the Baby Future/step dad reference on "Kill Jay Z." We'll just leave that one where it is...
