Members of the LGBT and their supporters are PISSED. When Charlamagne and his MTV co-star comedian Lil Duval joked around about different hypotheticals involving trans women on TBC last week, folks were NOT having it.
Charlamagne, Angela and Envy addressed the situation Monday morning, and said they shouldn't be held accountable for what Duval said. They actually chastised him during the chit chat in question once Duval said he would kill a trans person – IF they didn't reveal they were trans once they became (or tried to become) intimate with him.
Still, the fall out has been swift. With black trans men and women being killed at alarming rates, many believe even joking about the matter was completely irresponsible. Trans activist Ashlee Marie Preston, Editor of "Wear Your Voice" magazine, stormed Charlamagne's event the other day at Politicon in Cali to read him for filth:
And trans activist Janet Mock, who was just on TBC last week, popped back with a vengeance about being used as a prop:

While co-host Angela Yee said on Monday's show that she wanted to have Janet on as a guest because her book was a necessary learning tool, that may have been overlooked as many folks believe Charlamagne and co. set up the later convo with Duval to be messy.
