The Girls Trip cast also hit up Atlanta radio station V103 to chat about the new movie and other topics this AM.

Jada got extra emotional talking about her good friend Tupac and why she decided to speak out against the film.

She said she didn’t make the statement about All Eyez On Me to make people not go see it. She just wanted people to know that the storyline in the movie was not how her relationship with Pac really was.

The YBF actress broke down crying saying she felt like the movie was a huge disservice to her special relationship with the iconic rapper. What made it even more painful was that the producers at Code Black know her and they didn’t even reach out to ask for her input. She felt it was handled in a disrespectful way and that they were exploiting their relationship to sell a movie.

“If you’re going to say you’re honoring a man’s legacy, then honor his legacy,” Jada said.“And if you don’t have the story, FALL BACK until you do.”

Bloop.
