Issa win for John Legend!
Last night, the R&B crooner won a Tony Award as a producer of the play revival “Jitney” at Radio City Hall in NYC during this year’s Tony Awards ceremony. The win brings the musician one step closer to the coveted EGOT status.
The “All Of Me” singer has won 10 Grammys and he won an Oscar alongside Common two years for co-writing the Best Original Song winner “Glory” from the SELMA soundtrack. Now, all he need is an EMMY to reach EGOT. Nice!
John’s wife Chrissy Teigen hit the carpet with him in a custom strapless Pamella Roland gown to celebrate her hubby’s big win.
Broadway starlet Cynthia Erivo, who nabbed a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Musical for “The Color Purple,” wowed in a custom plunging V-neck CG gown with a matching headdress. After hitting the carpet, she hit the stage for a performance.
His show “24: Legacy” just got the axe, but Corey Hawkins has been putting in work on the Broadway play “Six Degrees of Separation.” The YBF actor, who was up for Best Actor in a Play, brought his grandmother with him as his date for the evening.

Model Alek Wek rolled up on the carpet to strike a pose in a black one-shouldered Oscar de la Renta dress and printed boots.
Actress Condola Rashad, daughter of actress Phylicia Rashad, looked absolutely stunning in a sleeveless Vivienne Westwood dress as she made her way down the carpet.
She was accompanied by her actor fiancé Sebastian Vallentin Stenhoj. If you didn’t know, Sebastian popped the question to Condola on New Year’s during a BAEcay in Mexico.
“The View” co-host Whoppi Goldberg, who’s an EGOT winner, made her way on stage to introduce a reunion performance by the cast of "Falsettos.” She also did a few funny skits with host Kevin Spacey.
Cynthia Erivo and John Legend presented Best Score, which went to Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for "Dear Evan Hansen."
The legendary James Earl Jones was front-and-center to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Last year’s Best Actor & Best Actress, Leslie Odom Jr. and Cynthia Erivo, hit the stage to perform a tribute to “New York, New York.”
