Jhene Aiko teamed up with outwear company Teva again for new collection of sandals, arriving just in time for summer. The Teva x Jhené Aiko collection is a fusion of the company’s iconic silhouettes and the singer/songwriter's daring, eclectic style.
To celebrate her new collection, the songbird hosted a private dinner at NeueHouse’s posh penthouse rooftop in L.A. The ethereal songstress wore an ATM bodysuit paired with Moussy denim, a Thompson Street Studio by Susan Cianciolo/Kiva Motnyk kimono from the Hammer Museum and, of course, a pair of her new sandals.
The “Maniac” singer previewed her brand new collection while guests enjoyed a vegan dinner looking over the City of Angels.
"The new collection was inspired by being outside and the natural beauty of the sky,” she told Billboard. “I always say, Teva feels like you're walking on a cloud and it's the next best thing to being barefoot because they're so comfortable. This design reminds me of a really pretty sunset when there are clouds in the sky on a summer day with a shimmer, that feels like a magical daydream. I feel like there’s so much to discover when you’re outside and seeing new beautiful things, and that's how I wanted the sandal to feel. In the first collaboration, the colors were very specific, and I wanted these to feel a little more neutral and versatile."
As expected, her boyfriend Big Sean was in the mix to show his support.

While making her media rounds in a custom H&M gown at the 2017 MET Gala, Nicki Minaj dished on an upcoming project with the brand.
When asked how she ended up collaborating with H&M to create her MET Gala look, she revealed she’s teaming up with the Swedish retailer for a special collaboration that will debut this fall.
"I have a special collaboration coming out with H&M this fall and so they are dressing me for the night and they nailed it,” the Young Money said on the red carpet. Peep the clip above.
It’s unclear if Nicki will be releasing her own H&M collection or if she’ll front the brand’s fall campaign. We’ll just have to wait and see.
