These two! Juilliard classmates Teyonah Parris and Corey Hawkins have both blown up in Hollywood, but they're still the down to earth best friends they've been for years. See how Teyonah just blew up the TONY nominee's spot in the best way inside...
The Tony nominations are in! "24: Legacy" and "The Walking Dead" star Corey Hawkins nabbed his first TONY nod for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Six Degrees of Separation. So, it was only right his good friend, former classmate and fellow Hollywood breakout star Teyonah Parris surprised him with a very public congratulations only your friends can give.
"Survivor's Remorse" star Teyonah and another friend pulled up outside Corey's theater yesterday right after his Broadway show wrapped for the night. They brought huge gold balloons that spelled out TONY, made up a chant for the Straight Outta Compton star on the spot, and Snapchatted the whole incident. They hid in his car, then popped out screaming with the celebratory shenanigans.
