It’s the biggest night in fashion and this year’s MET Gala theme was Comme des Garçons's Rei Kawakubo and her wearable art designs.
Rap star Nicki Minaj decided to pay homage to Rei on her big night rocking the face of the Comme des Garçon designer on her oversized belt as she hit the carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night in New York City. The dress, detailed with organza and a long train, was a custom red and black ensemble created by H&M which she paired with Versace platform sandals.

When she wasn't serving face for the cameras, she was busy fangirling out over the celebs she ran into. Nicki rubbed elbows with Halle Berry, Mary-Kate& Ashley Olsen, designer Maison Valentino, actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Future, Jourdan Dunn and model Gigi Hadid. And the Young Money rapper could hardly contain her excitement.
