Coachella 2017 was full of surprise and scheduled performances from your faves. Go inside to see Lauryn Hill shut ish down, Drake& Future turn up and more…
This was def the most hip hop'd out Coachella ever.
Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival 2017 was supposed to feature a headlining performance from Beyonce, but since she’s good and pregnant with twins, her performance was postponed until 2018.
But, Coachella festivalgoers still rocked out to some pretty epic performances. There were plenty of surprises throughout Weekend 1 of the two-weekend festival as well.
On Saturday at the Empire Polo Club, Lauryn Hill -- channeling her inner Little Red Riding Hood-- shocked fans when she popped up on stage during DJ Snake’s set. The R&B queen served up a few of her classics, including the Fugee’s “Killing Me Softly,” “Ready or Not” and then her very own “Lost Ones.”
Check out a few clips below:
Also hitting the stage...
Rapper Future made his Coachella debut on Saturday night with an electrifying set and a few guests to help make it even more epic. Alongside Ty Dolla $Sign, the ATL rapper kicked off his set with "Blasé" before rocking out to "New Level,” "Same Damn Time" and "Sh*t."
Since Future and Drake collaborated on a whole mixtape, it was only right he brought out the Canadian rapper to assist him during his set. The duo performed hits from What A Time To Be Alive, including “Jumpman.” Then, Drizzy served up his track "Gyalchester” from his More Life album and his radio hit, “Fake Love.”
DJ Khaled hit the stage and y’all KNOW he stays with surprises up his sleeve. The superproducer brought out a bevy of Hip Hop acts, including Migos, 2 Chainz, French Montana, A$AP Ferg, Wale, and Swae Lee.
As expected, Migos performed their hit single “Bad and Boujee” and their youngest fan was in the audience getting all of his life. Check it:

Diddy took Coachella by surprise Saturday night when he joined Gucci Mane onstage during the rapper’s closing set. The Hip Hop mogul effectively shut down the Sahara Tent stage, closing out the second day of Coachella with performances of “I Need a Girl Pt. 2,” “Pass the Courvoisier,” “All About the Benjamins” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.”

Last night, Pharrell Williams popped up on the Coachella stage alongside legendary composer Hans Zimmer to perform “Freedom.”
Peep clips from their set below:
When he wasn’t tonguing down his girlfriend Selena Gomez behind-the-scenes, The Weeknd was serenading festivalgoers with his soothing vocals. He performed “Some Way” alongside Nav at the Gobi tent on Saturday.
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert made his way to the Coachella stage for a lively performance. He brought out special guest Cash Carti to perform their collaboration track “Woke Up Like This.”
Rapper ScHoolboy Q also was tapped to hit the stage. During his performance, he brought out Tyler The Creator and A$AP Rocky and the crowd lost it.
Looks like Weekend 1 was a success. Who's ready for Weekend 2?
