Last week, Bobby Brown entered a confidential rehabilitation center. And it stemmed from his March arrest for using his cell phone on a public way without a headset and the suspicion of driving under the influence. So Bobby agreed with the State of California to pursue rehab in exchange for the level of charges he would face. And now his lawyer is speaking for him:
“Mr. Brown takes his agreement very seriously and admitted himself three weeks after concluding his honeymoon in Mexico during a break from the New Edition tour,” said Christopher Brown, Esq. of Brown & Rosen LLC. “Bobby is doing well and receiving services that comply with his agreement with the State of California.”
Bobby's wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown said today, “Bobby’s children and loved ones are very proud of him. We appreciate his fans prayers and well wishes. Bobby is mentally in a good place.”
Interestingly, Bobby's daughter Krissy hinted that rehab wasn't going as well as folks are being made to think. Yet and still, Mr. Brown will continue on his concert dates with New Edition and his solo concerts which includes September 1, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
