The US Military issued approximately 60 strikes in #Syria overnight, and plenty of folks definitely aren't here for it. Detail inside...
Close to 60 missile strikes in Syria were ordered by Trump and reportedly not with the proper approval of Congress. As the news of POTUS basically getting the United States into another war that didn't necessarily involve us in the first place spread, Twitter dug up his old tweets to prove just how blatantly hypocritical he is.
While there has been ongoing unrest in the region, Trump said just a few days ago that it wasn't America's fight. The issued strikes are in retaliation for the chemical attack there earlier this week, and to stop Syria's President Assad from carrying out more attacks. Here's the official announcement below:
A stark difference from what he said about Syria and the middle east when Obama was faced with determining how/if to step in:
Whatever one thinks about bombing Syria, the gap between Trump's campaign rhetoric on Syria and his actions tonight is mind-boggling.

Oh, the irony. While Trump even ran on the platform of not ever intervening in Syria, things have apparently changed. Politicians often use war as a means to distract from the fact they're in hot water themselves.
Interestingly, the entire White House has been under siege and has been exposed daily for their alleged illegal and treasonous relationship with Russia. Russia made it known that they would be upset if the US got involved in the horrificness happening in Syria as Russia has their own military there carrying out acts in their own interest. What better way for White House head honchos to prove "we're not working with Russia" than to go against their wishes?
So, why the EXTRA sudden change of heart, especially when Trump campaigned on "putting America first" and being a non-interventionist when it comes to other countries' wars? Time will tell...
