Yaaaay Lawrence and Issa are on speaking terms again!
"Insecure” executive producer Prentice Penny is coming from behind the camera to the forefront for his new truTV series “Upscale with Prentice Penny.”
Prentice –who also works on shows like “Happy Endings,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Scrubs” –hosted the premiere of his new reality show at The London Hotel in West Hollywood and the “Insecure cast” came out to show support.
Issa Rae and Jay Ellis took a break from filming season 2 to peep Prentice's brand new series. They hit the carpet with Prentice, “Insecure” star Amanda Seales (who became a show regular for season 2), and director Melina Matsoukas.
Ugh! Seeing these two together has us ITCHING to know what's going to happen with Issa and Lawrence's relationship. The Season 1 finale was a doozy.
Prentice brought his wife Tasha Penny and their children along for the premiere. Aren't they cute!
“Upscale with Prentice Penny” is an un-scripted series that will show you how to upgrade your life for the low with an eye toward luxury, quality, good taste and the finer things in life.
We're always here for good YBF tv so, yassss!
Funnyman Kel Mitchell, who’s gearing up to welcome his third child soon, got suited and booted for the premiere of Prentice's new show.
Actor Terry Crews was also in the mix to show his support. Terry stars on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," which is set to return April 11th on FOX.
Get Out star and comedian Lil Rel Howery is still making his rounds in L.A.
BuzzFeed video content creator Quinta Brunson, who we're obsessed with, was on the scene.
And Prentice got DJ Jazzy Jeff to hop on the 1s & 2s for the event.
Peep the trailer for Prentice's new show below:

Chick was in a celebratory mood at the Generosity.org Fundraiser For World Water Day held at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills this week. Looks like they were playing some of fave songs.
Loving this forest green curve hugging look.
Married couple Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin were all smiles on the carpet as they helped raise funds for the charity. If you haven't heard, Meagan is gearing up to play Foxy Brown in a new TV reboot, executive produced by her husband.
