Nia Guzman has filed a trademark for her daughter Royalty Brown, but does Chris Brown know? If he doesn’t he’s about to. Deets inside…
Chris Brown and his daughter’s mom Nia Guzman don’t have the best relationship. We’ve watched them blast each other publicly and they have battled it out in court over custody of Royalty Brown. So, we’re wondering if this trademark Nia recently filed will add fuel to the fire.
Not that she HAS to inform him of her business dealings, but we’re sure he would want to know that she’s filing trademarks -- with only herself listed as the owner -- on his daughter’s name.
Nia has filed an International Class 25 trademark that includes clothing, footwear and headgear. And here are the receipts:
So, it appears Nia is looking to launch a Royalty Brown clothing line, or something similar. She filed the trademark in November 2016 and as of March 2017, she’s almost finished the process. The “NOTIFICATION OF NOTICE OF PUBLICATION E-MAILED” means the final review prior to publication has been completed and the application will be published for opposition (but this is not the publication date). So if Chris has a problem, he can file something that says so.
Recently, flicks of Royalty modeling have popped up on social media, so this trademark seems to fall in line with Nia’s potential come up.
If she get’s approved for the trademark and launches a Royalty Brown clothing line, it will be interesting to see how this could affect their child support situation.
Breezy currently dishes out $2,500 a month in child support, and he also pays for Royalty's schooling, health insurance, medical bills and nannies.
