Over the past few years, TLC member Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins has talked about wanting to adopt a baby. And now, she’s a new mom.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the R&B singer hopped on Instagram to reflect on the day her adopted baby boy turned one. She shared the sweetest pic of her new bundle of joy giving her kiss with the caption:

In 2015, news of her adoption announcement became public when she was on the stand being questioned in court over a multi-million lawsuit. TLC’s former manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid pulled the trigger on a $40 million defamation lawsuit against T-Boz and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas over how she was portrayed in the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. During questioning, T-Boz was asked if she had talked to Chilli regarding the lawsuit and that’s when she revealed she had only talked to her band mate about adopting a child.
Back in 2012, T-Boz spoke with Larry King about wanting to adopt a child from Haiti. She ran into some issues with the adoption process and it delayed her plans.
It’s unclear if this adorable tot is from Haiti, but T-Boz has finally got her wish. Her baby boy is her 2nd child. She has a teenage daughter named Chase Anele Rolison whom she shares with rapper Mack 10.
