Right when T.I. and Tiny’s “Family Hustle” reality show was going to get the boot, it was saved by the couple’s divorce drama.
Looks like T.I. and Tiny’s divorce drama saved their reality show “The Family Hustle.”
Sources tell TMZ that VH1 had plans on axing the family oriented reality show after its fifth season. But, with Tiny filing for divorce from Tip, producers feel it could bring in good ratings. Producers (and apparently T.I. & Tiny themselves, go figure) were able to convince VH1 to renew it for another season to follow all of the drama between the two.
Sources claim T.I. and Tiny wanted to keep the cameras rolling even though the show was on its last leg.
It’s reported the new season will follow the rapper and singer as they work to co-parent their seven kids. While they filmed last season mainly apart, the Harrises are expected to film together more for the new season.
By the way, even though Tiny has filed for divorce, she’s apparently in no rush to finalize it.
This should get interesting….
They seem to be doing pretty well with co-parenting. T.I. revealed they were together for Christmas (right after Tiny filed for divorce) and on Valentine's Day:
