Vanity Fair and luxury car company Genesis teamed up to celebrate Hidden Figures, the American biographical drama that shed light on three African-American female mathematicians -- played by Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, and Janelle Monae-- who were responsible for sending the first American into space.
The film is up for three Oscar awards, including Best Picture.
In TV news, Taraji will return as Cookie Lyon on the hit series "Empire" when it premieres March 22nd at 9pm on FOX.
Janelle Monae stuck to her signature black and white theme, but last night’s look featured more color. The WONDALAND honcho rocked a colorful floral Reem Acra dress that served up retro vibes. She finished her look with Christian Louboutin sandals.
