Young Black Hollywood had everyone on notice with their funky prints and bold colors at the Young Hollywood soiree in L.A. yesterday. Go to check out Yara Shahidi, Cynthia Erivo, Ashley Madekwe and more…
Funky prints and bold colors were the trend at Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris’ toast to Young Hollywood event held at Deliah in West Hollywood last night.
““black•ish” starlet Yara Shahidi, Tony Award winning Broadway star Cynthia Erivo and “Salem” star Ashley Madekwe had the most fun with their festive looks for the star-studded affair:
Yara, rocking a multi-colored Chanel sweatshirt with red and white striped Chanel trousers, made her way down the carpet alongside her mom/twin Keri Shahidi. The 17-year-old just celebrated a birthday this month, and she's certainly earned the "young Hollywood" label.
Cynthia Erivo rolled up on the scene in a J. Crew Bengal tiger printed ensemble catching everyone’s eye. We're pretty much obsessed. “The Color Purple” Broadway star recently won her first Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
Ashley had tons of fun with her strapless printed peplum top and pants by Johanna Ortiz.
“Empire” star Serayah, who has been heating up social media with her dance rehearsal videos, was much more laid back with her ensemble. By the way, she'll be returning to the small screen when "Empire" returns next month.
“The Get Down” star Shameik Moore, “Atlanta” actor Lakeith Stanfield, and FENCES actor Jovan Adepo were in the mix for the young Hollywood bash:
All Eyez On Me actress Kat Graham hit the carpet in powder pink floor length gown for the affair. She’s set to hit the big screen as Jada Pinkett Smith in the Tupac biopic when it hits theaters in June.
Hmm...
Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei served up an interesting look. We're usually here for everything she gives, but this look here is....interesting.
Our fave beauty blogger Jackie Aina sashayed down the carpet in a flirty frock that works.
Inside...
Singer/actress LeToya Luckett, who has been hot on the L.A. scene lately, posed it up with Yara.
"The Last Man On Earth" star Cleopatra Coleman kept it hot, yet sophisticated in a gold cut-out dress.
Fab times!
