It was the annual battle between the NBA’s best players on the east and west coast. Two former bestfriends stole the show when they reconciled, so to speak, on the court.
1. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have been heavy in the headlines after Durant decided to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder to play for the Golden State Warriors last summer. A special moment went down during the game in New Orleans last night. The former teammates rekindled their OKC days as Kevin passed the ball to Russell for an alley-oop.
After the play, the West bench went bananas to celebrate the former besties tag-teaming it up during the game.

During a halftime interview, Durant was asked about the alley-oop play and he had nothing but good things to say about Westbrook.
“He was open so I threw him the lob. He can jump really high so yeah, good play,” Durant said.
He knows he loves his bestie.

Westbrook also addressed the play during his post-interview. “Yeah he threw a lob. That’s all that happened. That’s basketball. That’s it.”
Westbrook was asked about giving Durant a high-five after the play, “Did you see it?” Westbrook responded. Bloop!

2. While LeBron James was the second oldest player (4 months behind Carmelo Anthony) playing in the All-Star game, he had to remind everyone why he's still the King. He served up several dunks during the game. Check it below:
3. Golden State Warrior baller/ two-time MVP Steph Curry didn't want to get dunked on again, so he just laid down in the middle of the court as Giannis Antetokounmpo took it to the rim:
4. Well this was a surprise to Sacramento Kings baller DeMarcus Cousins. Apparently, he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans and it looks like he didn’t find out about the trade until the media interviewed him after the game. Peep his reaction above.

5. New Orleans Pelicans baller Anthony Davis scored a whopping 52 points leading the Western Conference to beat the Eastern Conference, 192-182. And he did it all in front of his hometeam fans. How sweet is that?
Not only that, Davis set a new NBA All Star record, breaking Wilt Chamberlain's record of 42 points, which he set in 1962.
