Jason Derulo is pointing the finger at American Airlines for racial profiling after the police was called on him and his entourage at the airport. Find out what went down, plus why The Game kicked out a group of black girls from his Super Bowl party inside…
Looks like Jason Derulo is DEFINITELY taking his frequent flyer miles to another airline after an incident that resulted in the cops being called on him by American Airlines.
The R&B crooner claims he was racially profiled after an incident at Miami International Airport yesterday (February 8th). He hopped on Instagram to drag AA over racial discrimination due to a dispute over baggage fees. He wrote:
.@americanair I spent millions on your airline throughout the past ten years between myself and my entire staff but have still experienced racial discrimination today at miami airport!!! Called 15 police officers on me as if I'm a criminal! It's not ok that when you find out who I am the gears change! Fuck that!! I want answers #conciergekey #conciergekeymember #thecaptainneedstoshowrespecttoo cause he could #cashmeoutsidehowboutdat #notypo #ifiwasanyoneelseiwouldhavebeenarrested

Jason also hopped on Periscope as the ordeal was going down. He said he and his friends were rushing to make a 5pm flight. He said he is a Concierge Key member of American Airlines and that allows him to bring unlimited bags on the plane. He tried to get 19 bags on the plane, but was turned down. So, one of the people in his entourage decided to stay to catch a later flight with the luggage. Jason and his crew hopped on the flight.
Come to find out, as a Concierge Key member you’re only allowed to check three free bags. An airline representative told Jason’s friend he was going to be charged $6,000 to check the bags. He called Jason before the plane took off and Jason tried to get off the flight, but it never happened. He reportedly got into an altercation with the pilot.
Once they landed, Jason said 15 cops were waiting for them when they got off the plane.
"I get off the plane, 15 police officers waiting on me, like I'm a criminal,” Jason said in the video. He said the pilot cursed him out as well.
The “Talk Dirty” singer said everyone’s demeanor changed once they realized he was Jason Derulo.
"If I was not who I was, if I wasn't Jason Derulo, I wouldn't be here right now I'd be in f--king cuffs," he said in the video. "It's 100 percent racial because the initial thought in people's minds is these hoodlums are causing problems.”
Peep the clip below:
American Airlines released a statement to Local 10 News to address the issue saying:
"Flight 275 returned to the gate prior to departure. A passenger elected to deplane in order to travel with their checked bags. The passenger has been rebooked with his checked bags on a later flight this evening."
TMZ photogs caught up with Jason at LAX early this morning (February 8th) and he's PISSED the pilot cursed him out. He said when he demanded to go back to the gate, the pilot hopped on the intercom and blamed the delay on him. Once they reached the gate he said the pilot yelled out, "I want these motherf*****s off my plane right now!" Sheesh!
In other racial profiling news...
There was drama brewing at The Game’s Super Bowl party last weekend.
Apparently, the west coast rapper kicked out a group of black girls and they have been sounding off on social media claiming he kicked them out because they’re black. One of the women said they were kicked out because they were "Dark meat," to be exact. They even called him a racist.
The “Hate It Or Love It” rapper told TMZ that’s NOT true. He said he kicked them out because they were not on his guest list. He said since he gave them some socks, pizza and drinks they should be grateful and not try and spin this as a racist incident. Really Game? Chicks should be grateful for socks? Bruh.
Maybe the thirst for a rapper's company is just that real these days.
