Bad breakups are the blueprint for hot new music. And Mariah Carey is spilling her heart out in her newest single “I Don’t” featuring rapper YG.
Sampling Donell Jones’ “Where I Wanna Be,” Mimi croons about the heartache she felt after calling it quits with her former billionaire fiancé James Packer.
"But I'm tired of cryin', no more tears/Pity party of the year/Cold at night cause you're not here/Leaving you was my worst fear," Carey sings.
The Grammy Award winner talked about the new track during a Facebook Live session last night, noting she and YG worked with superproducer Jermaine Dupri. Laid out in lingerie, Mariah revealed she’ll be dropping more single releases rather than a full album. We're sure the Lambly family is happy to hear more new music is coming.

In the Facebook Live clip, she also dished a little about her role in the upcoming animation, The Lego Batman Movie.
"I play the part of the mayor," Carey shared, confirming the news that she'll play Mayor McCaskill, an original character created for the film. "I think the movie's going to be great."
And she's working on a new song with her 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
"We recently did something together in the studio, and it's one of my favorite things," Carey marveled. "I don't want to go on too much about it, but they're doing their thing."

The “Work” singer was ecstatic over Mimi rocking her designs, posting on Instagram, “Yo I made it!!! @mariahcarey in #FENTYxPUMA”
