We’re sure he knew it was coming and the day has finally come.
“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Stevie J went to court for back child support (after being indicted in January 2015) and the judge hit him with a huge payout. He’s being ordered to pay $1,304,835.86, according to reports.
While having to shell out all of that money has to hurt, we’re sure he’d rather cough up the cash then spend any time in jail. Federal prosecutors were on his a** and wanted him to do time in jail for the unpaid debt. He was facing about 6 months behind bars.
As he pays off his debt, he’ll also be placed on probation for 3 years, unless he pays the amount in full before then. Well, with his “LAHH” money and his spin-off show money along with his producing money, he should be able to get caught up in time. It’s unclear which, if not all, of his kids the money is for.
Surprisingly, Stevie has accepted full responsibility and wants to take care of his kids financially. He reportedly told the judge,"I accept full responsibility for not fully financially supporting my children when I was younger, but I've stepped up to the plate now and I fully support my children not only financially, but they are the closest individuals to me."
Well good for him. With all this child support drama, maybe has wisen up and will do right by his newest kid with Joseline Hernandez, Bonnie Bella.
