Solange Knowles & LaLa Anthony stepped into the weekend after rocking two of the hottest looks of the week. Get into the fab chicks' head-to-toe flawlessness inside...
Since she was named Honorary Chair of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater opening night gala benefit, magical YBF chick Solange Knowles hit the event in a fabulous way.
She showed up tot he New York City Center recently in a unique look that could have been straight out of one of her visuals from A Seat At The Table. Especially those killer -- but risky -- silver heels. While some may not have "gotte" the look or found it bizarre, we love her unique futuristic yet vintage fly. It just works.
Solo snapped flicks with Alvin Ailey's head honchos Robert Battle and Bethann Hardison.
The gala benefit raised $2.4 million as the dance company kicks off its 5-week season in NYC. Proceeds from the evening will go to the creation of new works, scholarships to The Ailey School, and Ailey’s educational programs for children. Nice!
Work.
Also at the opening night gala:
LaLa Anthony who was flossing those killer curves in this gorgeous black lace, high slit gown by Shady Zeineldine Couture and shoes by Saint Laurent.
Perfect dress for a chick with a few curves. By the way, LaLa is gearing up to release another fashion collection that she says will be for everyone! The "Power" star and former 5th & Mercer clothing line owner told the masses, "Ladies....I'm working on something for ALL of us..all shapes...all heights...all curves...all sizes."
Fab looks for the ladies for a fab cause.
