Drake was allegedly a no show for a performance in Abu Dhabi and reportedly ran off with $250,000. Get those deets, plus flicks of Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill in Curacao and rumors about Lil Wayne possibly dropping a new album inside…
Drake might be in hot water to tune of six figures.
We know Drake was in Abu Dhabi this weekend. He posted a picture from his Emirates Palace hotel on Sunday night (above). But apparently, he was a no show for an appearance at pop-up nightclub VIP ROOM on Saturday night.
According to reports, the Young Money rapper was paid $250,000 for the appearance, but his management supposedly got into an argument with the management team at VIP ROOM, which resulted in Drizzy being a no show.
It’s being reported that fans waited until 5AM to see the Canadian rapper, but he was no where to be found. Later, a representative for the event released a statement saying Drizzy was a no-show due to safety concerns. The statement reads:
“Due to Drake’s overwhelming popularity the sheer number of people that turned up outside of VIP Room made it completely unsafe for Drake to even enter the venue in the end so he was unable to perform.”
No word from Drake's camp as of yet.
By the way, Drake was also a "no show" when Rihanna hit the stage to perform their joint track "Work" to close out her ANTI World Tour.

Wayne is still representing for Jay Z’s Roc Nation, as seen above.
And now, he’s hinting at new music dropping soon. During an interview on “The Nine Club” podcast, the Young Money honcho, who’s currently still battling a lawsuit against Cash Money honcho Birdman, told the hosts he will be dropping a new project titled Funeral. And it’s coming soon.
“I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon,” he said. “If you are a Wayne fan —I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now—but if you are a Wayne fan, we’re about to hold our heads high.”
We can assume he'll be airing out his frustrations about the Birdman issue.
By the way, Wayne was an no-show in Curaco for the show with his labelmates. The event promoters claim he cancelled due to having a seizure beforehand, something that Wayne's camp has denied.
