Young M.A. can’t seem to catch a break.
After a video of her kicking a fan out for not having a cell phone out during a recent show went viral, the Brooklyn rapper is back in the headlines.
This time, she’s being accused of running off with thousands of dollars after going m.i.a for a scheduled performance. A New Orleans-based promoter, who goes by the name Winston, is blasting the “Ooouuu” rapper for taking $33,000 for a performance that she never showed up to.
According to Winston, Young M.A. backed out of the agreement allegedly because the venue wasn’t “packed enough.” In a few Instagram videos, Winston claims Young M.A. has a “nasty attitude” and that she has an “attitude problem.”
The promoter claims he gave her the full amount and nothing was cut short. He says she talked to someone else and they told her not to come to venue for whatever reason. He says Young M.A. and her team ran to the airport with her management team and stopped answering his calls.
At this point, Winston says he just wants his money back since she was a no show:

Young M.A. has yet to respond to the New Orleans promoter, but she did make a few SnapChat videos to show why she also missed her show at Scores ATL last night. In the clips, she tells her fans she had been waiting for the driver in the lobby of her hotel since 11pm. The driver didn’t show up until after 2:23AM. Unfortunately for her fans, she didn’t get to the venue until 2:48AM and the club closes at 3AM.
We guess Uber-and-work-out-the-details-later wasn't an option.
From now on, she claims she will be making videos before she hits the stage to show fans that it’s NOT her, but presumably it’s the janky promoters’ fault. Peep the clips below:
