Drake had an eventful night at the 2016 American Music Awards after copping four awards, including Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist. He received a record breaking 13 nominations
The 6 God threw a star-studded bash at Delilah Lounge in L.A. to celebrate where several celebs attended, including Amber Rose and Karrueche.
During the AMAs madness, it appears Drizzy may have fired some shots at Kanye West. During his Favorite Artist Rap/Hip Hop acceptance speech, you’ll recall Drizzy saying, “For our genre, I just like to keep things exciting and keep making music. Shout out to everybody that’s trying to do the same thing. More Life is coming soon and more tune for your head top, so watch how you speak on my name, ya’know?”
So why would this be a message aimed at Yeezy? During Yeezy’s Sacramento stop on his PABLO Tour (which has since been cancelled), Ye noted that Drizzy gets more radio spins than Frank Ocean and he’s not happy about it. He said,
“I know it’s a lot of real niggas working at radio, real people, real programming directors with wives and kids that love music, that can’t play what they want to play because they’ve been paid to play that bullshit over and over and over. And when I say that bullshit, what I’m saying is we love Drake, Drake is great. He’s a great artist. But Frank Ocean is great, too.”
Kanye continued,“Khaled and Drake and radio and Doc and [Real] 92.3 and everybody. Is it just me or did you hear that song so many times ‘you say you wanna play for free.’ Aye, aye. You know what it is, though? Because aye, I love Drake. I love Khaled. But they set that song up, bro.”
On Instagram, Khaled congratulated Drake on his awards and Drizzy hopped in his comments section with a subliminal. He wrote:
“Some bwoy need fi make some hit song and stop cry” Oh? Is that a Kanye diss or a Meek diss? You decide.
Or, is this just some PR for alleged joint album/collaboration? Time will tell...

After getting raunchy on stage for a performance with Ariana Grande and holding her own with Khaled & co., Nicki Minaj opted for a calmer night with her beau Meek Mill. The couple was spotted leaving Mastro’s Steakhouse after an intimate dinner together.
The rain didn't stop her from hitting the L.A. scene with her man.
Meek wasn't too pleased the photogs were capturing their every move, so he flipped them off as they drove away from the venue.
