If you’re obsessed with this fly AF new show like we are, you’ll be happy to know HBO’s “Insecure” has been picked up for season 2! Get the details and let’s discuss this week’s episode inside…

Get ready for another round of laughs and the stories we ALL can relate to.  Yes, even being asked about those damn "errands."

HBO has renewed “Insecure” for season 2 BEFORE the first season even wraps up. We’re more than excited about it because we’re high key obsessed with watching Issa and Molly navigate through life and all of the problems and issues we all face.  It's everything we wanted "Girls" to be, and more. It’s the perfect show about black girl friendships, relationships and just getting through every day life.

The comedy will pick up two extra episodes in season 2 with the show being renewed for 10 episodes. Its debut season saw plenty of success with an average of 3.2 million viewers per episode. We’re not surprised, it’s super funny, real and it tackles issues like race and gender where everyone can relate.

So, last night’s episode was certainly a SHOCKER! (If you haven’t watched yet stop reading now).

********

For starters, Issa CHEATED on her longtime boyfriend Lawrence with her ex-boyfriend Daniel, and now she's trying her damndest to live through it and hold on to the good "black Spiderman" that she has. What makes matters even worse is that Lawrence seems to be hinting at marriage. No wonder this week’s episode was titled “Guilty As F*ck.”

Meanwhile, Issa’s homegirl Molly wants to call things off with Jared because he revealed to her that he hooked up with a guy once. By the way, Molly confessed that she kissed a girl once. So, why is it that Molly seems to have such a huge problem with Jared’s (who she has been feeling lately) past when she has one of her own? She told her girls about it. One of her friends believes he’s gay or bisexual, at the least. Issa and one of their other friends believe she should still give him a chance.  Because there's a SPECTRUM to this straight-gay discussion.  Thoughts?

Also, last night’s episode was directed by none other than Debbie Allen. Sweet!

Today, Issa Rae spoke on a panel titled "When A Woman Runs The Show" at Glamour Women Of The Year 2016 LIVE Summit at NeueHouse Hollywood. Girl power!  Chick is killing it (all while giving us all the naked shots that we need of Jay Ellis and all her fine co-stars).
