Well here’s a shocker!
Common and Regina Hall are reportedly a couple. And, according to a new report, the twosome has been secretly dating each other for over a year! WHAT?
According to the Daily Mail, a source close to the couple spilled the beans on their relationship revealing the lovebirds reportedly met in Atlanta while on the set of Barbershop: The Next Cut last year. The 45-year-old actress, who recently starred in When The Bough Breaks, was hesitant about getting romantically involved with the 44-year-old rapper, but Common put on his charm and eventually convinced her to go out on a date.
“Regina wasn't interested in dating a fellow actor," the source revealed.“She's always shied away from idea of being with one of her co-stars. But Common was persistent and finally won her over."
It’s reported Regina was adamant that they couldn’t start dating until the film wrapped up production. Once it wrapped, that’s when their love fest ensued and now they’re allegedly all wrapped in love.
“This is the happiest anyone has ever seen him. He's a hopeless romantic and after several failed relationships, he lost faith in love,” the source said.
Common has been linked to several high-profile celebrities such as Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson and Erykah Badu, but we hardly hear much about Regina’s love life. Although, she has been linked to NBA baller Arron Afflalo.
Since the two hit it off, it has inspired Common to get into the studio to make more music, specifically new love tracks. The Chi-town native supposedly contemplated not releasing any more albums, but it appears Regina has sparked new content. It’s said after he and Regina started kicking it, he started recording new songs, including his latest musical offering titled “Love Star,” a track from his upcoming album Black America Again (November 4th).

Last month, Regina sat down with Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" where she was questioned about her "high profile relationship." Radio host Angela Yee said she knew who her man was and that she was looking forward to them coming out as a couple. Angela asked Regina if "he" was marriage material and Regina answered "Yes." Hmm... was she referring to Common? Possibly.
Regina is currently filming Girls Trip (hitting theaters in 2017) and she’s gearing up to begin production on a comedy titled Naked. Since the cat is seemingly out of the bag, we wonder if Common will pop up on a red carpet or two with Regina to show his support.
We can’t lie, IF they are dating, they make one good looking couple.
