This Maryland couple has people talking, debating, and everything in between all over social media. When Alfred Duncan got down on one knee to propose to his then girlfriend, fitness trainer Sherrell Woodward, and then surprised her with a wedding later that same day, he set the bar for men everywhere. At least, that’s what folks are saying on social media.
Sherrell had NO idea her now husband had planned out their entire wedding and that she would be trekking down the aisle just hours after he proposed. The two have known each other for 9 years. And apparently, they have a rocky love story just like most couples.

Sherrell Duncan is now sharing how she really felt her wedding day. As expected (based on her reaction in the clip), it was a dream come true. She posted a Facebook video explaining all of the emotions she felt on her big day.
“I saw God running all through that man,” Sherrell said. “I’ve never felt that before in my life. He allowed me to see how amazing he works…..I am so happy God chose to love me this way.”
She continued, “I felt the presence of God running all through my husband. My whole heart is at peace knowing I am forever protected by God.”

Since going viral, the happily married couple has been making media rounds to share their unique love story. Partially to hush the haters and partially to just let their story be a testimony. There are folks who criticized big things (why he waited so long and why folks should stop saying women should be "grateful" a man wants to marry them) to small things (like the color of her wedding dress that HE picked out).
