Decked out in a trendy athleisure outfit, with the infamous grey sweatpants, the NY Knicks power forward made his way to the legendary West Fourth Street Courts for a basketball-inspired photoshoot.
Melo struck several poses with a basketball in front of a red backdrop for the upcoming spread with fans looking on.

Garnett confirmed his retirement on social media on Friday, posting a short black-and-white film where he expresses how thankful he is for the continued support from fans, family and friends throughout his dynamic career. He said, "I'm just thankful. I can't even put that into words. I'm just thankful. I'm just thankful for everybody and the love. I never would have thought that people love me like this. But, for it to be reality is just something else, man. Man.''
