Atlanta Gay Pride Weekend was lit!
R&B songstress K. Michelle took center stage to perform at the 5th annual Pure Heat Community Festival, also known as a free “day of unity,” held at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park.
The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was the lady of the hour as she was awarded the Humanitarian Award presented by The Vision Community Foundation for her philanthropic efforts.
Congrats K!
The “Love Em All” singer had the audience standing to their feet singing her lyrics as she performed a medley of her Billboard chart-topping hits. She also auditioned three upcoming singers live for Atlantic records.
Also in the mix...
“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Mimi Faust came out to show her pride. If you watch the show, Mimi was involved in a relationship with a female on the last season. Her then-girlfriend Chris couldn’t handle Mimi’s relationship with her daughter’s father Stevie J, so they eventually broke up. Former reality star Erica Mena was there too.
The Braxton sisters also came out for the fun! Hey Trina and Towanda! No word yet if "Braxton Family Values" will return for season 6.
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" star Jhonni Blaze also hit the stage for her first performance at a major festival.
Elsewhere...
Your favorite rap queens hit up Atlanta Gay Pride events. Remy Ma and Trina rocked the stage at The GA Freight Depot Museum Bar and Club Obsessions, representing for the female emcees.
And, of course, Remy's husband Papoose wasn't far behind. Love their #BlackLove!
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" star Cardi B was also in the mix for the fun.
