Night 1 of Made In America Fest is in the bag. But what's a summer festival without shenanigans? Check out performances from Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz (after Weezy threw in the towel on the music game hours before), Rihanna twerking that headliner sppot, Jay Electronica getting shut down by cops, and more...
RiRi jetted back to the east coast after clubbing with Drake in Miami last week because chick had some coins to make.
The Roc Nation princess nabbed the headliner spot in her homie Jay Z's Made In America Festival, so she sexed up the stage in Philly last night.
The all-olive wearing singer worked it out with close to 30 tracks. Here's a bit of what went down:
Before Rihanna took the stage:
ColleGrove took over and showed Lil Wayne is back in his right headspace. We think.
Hours before Weezy and 2 Chainz took the stage in Philly, he tweeted that he was mentally defeated and was giving up on the music scene. He basically said he quit:
I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun

A couple of hours later, he eased everybody's mind as twitter had basically collectively freaked out:
ain't lookin for sympathy, just serenity

Just a couple days ago, someone called the cops claiming to be in the middle of a "mass shooting" at Lil Wayne's house. Yes, again. The Miami PD responded for a second time, and Wayne thanked them on social media.
Luv to the miami PD for always being alert, attentive, & appropriate. Thk u

Missy, Chris Brown and Chance The Rapper offered up some encouraging words saying:

Dear @LilTunechi I just wanna remind you that absolutely nothing and no one in this world can defeat you. Tell them devils back back.

Sounds like Tunechi needs a vacay.
Jay Electronica was there to perform too, but his set got shut down by cops. The New Orleans native got this bright idea to tell the whole crowd to come up on stage and attempt to break the stage. Naturally, cops weren't having it. See it all play out below:
Foolery.
Bryson Tiller was also there to rock the stage. Check out "Don't" below:
