Toni Braxton showed up at the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards looking like a million bucks to accept her award. And her rumored boyfriend Birdman came out to show her some love. More inside…
There’s never a shortage of slayage when Toni Braxton hits the red carpet.
Last night, the legendary R&B songstress hit the red carpet at the 2016 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards held at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The 48-year-old loves showing off her amazing bod and last night was no different. The “Un-Break My Heart” singer sashayed down the carpet in a white heavily detailed see-through gown to accept her BMI award.
The Grammy Award winner was honored with the prestigious BMI President’s award to recognize 25-years of success in the game and her contribution to the R&B world. On the carpet, she snapped pics with her massive award alongside BMI Vice President Catherine Brewton and BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill.
And look who was in the audience to show support:
Toni’s rumored boyfriend Birdman was right by his lady’s side to celebrate her big feat. While neither of the two have confirmed their relationship status, they have been spotted together on several occasions and Birdman has even made a few cameos on her family reality show “Braxton Family Values.”
The R&B icon was also joined by her entire family, including sisters Traci Braxton, Towanda Braxton, Trina Braxton, mom Evelyn Braxton, dad Michael Braxton Sr., and brother Michael Braxton Jr.
Yes, her youngest sister Tamar Braxton was there as well, but she missed the carpet:
Gorge.
Rapper Ludacris, who was tapped to perform, and comedian/actor Chris Tucker, who was tapped to host, were also in the mix.
DJ Khaled also stepped out to the event as he was tapped for a performance. We see you Khaled showing off some chest.
Toni took the stage to perform her hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me,” following tribute performances by The Braxton sisters, Ledisi, Yolanda Adams and Donald Lawrence & Company.
The man behind Toni’s career, L.A. Reid, took the stage to present her with the BMI President’s award alongside BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill.
Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, looking more refined, also hit the stage for a performance.
