There’s plenty of chatter on social media about the “In Common” singer deciding not to wear any makeup at the star-studded event, but we love it. She’s showing the world you don’t have to be drenched in makeup to look good.
The Grammy Award winner sashayed down the carpet in a red printed Just Cavalli dress accessorizing with a Jennifer Fisher charm necklace. Her husband Swizz Beatz joined her on the carpet keeping cool in a white ripped jeans, a black shirt, black and white sneakers and he topped his look off with a white blazer.
Before making her way inside, Alicia stopped to snap a few selfies with a few lucky fans.
WONDALAND artist Jidenna made a bold statement on the carpet rocking a long royal blue blazer with green accents and black slacks.
Before the “Classic Man” hit the stage to perform during the pre-show, Roc Nation artist Tiwa Savage joined him on the carpet for a few flicks.
We’re not sure if these two are dating (they were also spotted together at a pre-MTV VMA part this weekend) or just friends, but they would make one cute couple.
Singer Jillian Hervey (Vanessa L. Williams’ daughter) and producer Lucas Goodman, who make up the duo LIONBABE, were also in the mix for the VMA festivities.
