As if bringing 15 Mothers of the Movement and a couture-dripping Blue Ivy as her VMAs dates wasn't enough Queen behavior! Beyoncé Knowles spent the VMAs breaking a record with her number of VMA wins and giving the most fire performance of her "Lemonade" album. Get it all inside...
Beyoncé incorporated the pain of losing a child and loved one into her 15-minute performance of her Lemonade album. She had the mothers of Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and more there as her special guests as she performed her entire Lemonade album. She saluted slain men and women at the hands of police in her "Pray You Catch Me" segment.
Chick performed a high energy video anthology of about half the album, live. Live special effects and all. You know, ish queens do.
And she wasn't done.
The hot mom won eight Moonmen, including “Video of the Year” for “Formation.” The song also won for Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Choreography, Best Editing, and Best Pop Video. She won Best Female Video for "Hold Up" and Breakthrough Longform Video for Lemonade.
She's now the most decorated VMAs winner ever with 26 Awards, beating out Madonna!
