DMX has said he would like to become a preacher some day. And it appears he’s getting closer to his calling. Go inside to hear the powerful word X gave at an Arizona church recently…

While DMX has made headlines for several mishaps throughout his life, he has never shunned away about his love for God. Yes, he has battled drug addiction. Yes, he has 15 kids by 9 different women. (FYI--He welcomed baby #15 a few days ago). And yes, he has been arrestedmore times than we can count. But, he has always considered himself a child of God and has publicly confessed his love for the Lord.  Bless up!

The 45-year-old rapper, who was ordained as a deacon in 2012, took center stage in a recently posted video during a Sunday service at a church in Phoenix, Arizona. That's where he delivered a powerful message about miracles.

X, whose real name is Earl Simmons, preached about having to go through the storm to receive a miracle from God.

"Miracles only happen on the platform of tragedy. If there's not a difficult situation, if there's not a situation where you can't see you possibly getting through on your own, then where's the potential for the miracle?" he asked. "If it wasn't that difficult than it would be just another situation that you got through with a little bit of time, but because it was something bigger than you, something that you know took more than you to get you through; It's not that God made these things happen, but what I'm saying is that He allowed those things to happen, just so you know what He's willing to do for you."

The NYC rapper said he knows God has a calling over his life, which is why the devil constantly comes after him.

"If I wasn't a threat to the devil he wouldn't waste his time. If I weren’t special to God, how would I know what He's willing to do for me? We know what He's able to do. The word says, 'All things are possible through Christ who strengthens,' Amen! So we know what He's able to do. How can you know what He's willing to do until you've been placed in a situation where you need Him to do it for you? If you haven't been somewhere where you need God to get you out of the situation, you wouldn't know what He's willing to do for you. We know what he's able to do but we won't know what He's willing to do until we're there."

Ok X! Spit those gems.

Take a listen to his full sermon below:

You’ll recall, in an interview with The Breakfast Club a few months ago, he opened up about how he hopes to touch peopleas a vessel of the Lord. "You never know how far God is going to allow me to get or how many people He is going to allow me to reach,” he said. “If I'm able to touch just one person then I've done something wonderful with my life, not just that moment."

After listening to his sermon, would you attend DMX's church?
