Recent reports suggest “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes was hit with a federal tax lien last month in a Georgia court that claims she owes $830,000 in back taxes, stemming from 2014. The government wants their money and if she doesn’t cough it up, her assets will be frozen.
Now, Nene is addressing the tax issue. But she clearly doesn’t seem bothered by it all. The 48-year-old, who’s currently celebrating her husband Gregg’s birthday in Vegas, posted up a picture of herself (above) smiling with the caption:
"Running out the hotel to pay this bill y'all know I ain't got no jobsssssss let me borrow 20$ #unstoppableNene #oversight #shaneinthebacktripping."
Being she used an “oversight” hashtag, it seems she may have mistakenly overlooked her taxes in 2014. Not sure how that’s possible, but we assume that’s what she’s sticking to. Guess she's till "rich" just forgot to pay her taxes. Hmph.
