The gymnast powerhouse competed in the women’s balance beam finals competition on Sunday, but unfortunately she made a mistake and it cost her the gold. The good news is, she still nabbed the bronze medal. And it was still a win for Team USA as Simone’s teammate Laurie Hernandez won the silver.

But check it, Simone won her THIRD Olympic gold medal after placing in first place in the women's vault finals. YAS! Today, she competed in the women's floor exercise finals.

So far, Simone has copped a total of 4 Olympic gold medals. Not shabby for her first Olympic Games!

While the outcome is already out as the event happened this afternoon, we won't spoil it for those waiting to watch it tonight in primetime.

Track and field star Allyson Felix raced her way to a silver medal in the women’s 400m Final yesterday. But everyone’s talking about that finish line DIVE by gold medalist Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas.

In the final yards of the race, Shaunae takes a leap and dives across the finish line, beating Allyson by 0.07 seconds. Some folks are up in arms about it, saying Allyson was robbed of the gold medal. But apparently, Shaunae didn't break any rules and was awarded the gold medal. Do you feel like Allyson was cheated?

After a rough start, tennis superstar Venus Williams added another medal to her Olympic collection. The 36-year-old tennis player teamed up with Rajeev Ram and took home the silver medal in the mixed doubles finals this week after losing gold to fellow Americans Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jack Sock.

It was a history-making win as Venus became the 2nd tennis player ever to win five Olympic medals. She remains tied at four Olympic gold medals with her sister, Serena Williams.

Congrats all around!
