Maternity FAB! A pregnant Kerry Washington was the absolute cutest as she stepped out for a fun-filled day in L.A. Peep Kerry bumping along inside…
Kerry Washington is bringing the maternity cuteness as she made her way to an InStyle magazine event dubbed, "Day of Indulgence." Mmm…sounds yummy.
The pregnant “Scandal” star, who revealed she was expecting at the Met Gala back in May, strolled up to the event in a cute, yet comfortable black off-the-shoulder jumpsuit that she paired with black booties, a snakeskin handbag, a red lippie and topped it all off with a chunky goddess braid. Not many can pull this look off, but Kerry does so effortlessly.
A crown for a queen indeed.
She met up outside the residence with actress Kristen Bell:
If you haven’t heard, filming for the 6th season of “Scandal” was pushed back after it was announced Kerry was expecting her 2nd child with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
Kerry filmed throughout her first pregnancy (with daughter Isabelle) where production had to get creative, using specific angles for her scenes and the costume designers had to find clothes that hid her baby bump. But, Kerry had a hard time taping the drama while she was pregnant. With the added hormones, feeling bloated and having to tap into all of those different emotions, Kerry decided this go round she’s sitting out of taping for most of her pregnancy. And we can’t say that we blame her.
So, that means “Scandal” will NOT be returning this fall with the regular #TGIT line up. Instead, it will premiere midseason on ABC. The good news is, the cast has started filming, making the announcement with behind-the-scene flicks on Instagram.
But, we do know how the new season will kick off. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 6th season premiere will pick up on election night!
“We are basically going to start out the season on election night,” said show creator Shonda Rhimes.“Yes, it is going to play into our season, but we’re not going to spend our time playing an election.”
Republican presidential hopeful Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) and her VP running mate Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) will duke it out against Democratic hopeful Franciso Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and his VP running mate Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry).
Who's gonna win?!
