A few months ago, we tipped you off that rapper Jim Jones and his fiancé Chrissy Lampkin (along with Mama Jones) would be returning to the reality TV world. And here we are.
The on-again off-again couple of 11 years have finally decided they’re ready to take the next big step in their relationship and they want the world to see via their new WE tv reality series, “Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never.”
Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at Jim and Chrissy plan their nuptials. Will Jim’s partying ways get in the way of their everlasting love (again)? You’ll have to watch the season play out for that.

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” is back for season 3! And it’s going to be a doozy. Below is a rundown on who will be starring on the new season and their storylines:
Masika Kalysha returns to the scene with a new baby on the way. After a very public battle with rap superstar Fetty Wap erupted on social media, the soon-to-be single mother struggles to figure out how Fetty will fit into her daughter’s life.
Ray J and Princess Love got engaged in last year’s finale, but a few dissenting figures will stop at nothing to prevent their trip to the altar.
Teairra Mari was slapped with highly publicized misdemeanor charges last year. Will Teairra’s friends rally to help bail her out of a bad situation before things get worse?
Moniece is ready to address all her haters – and no one is safe, including the father of her son, Fizz.
Miss Nikki Baby is back, and her love life has never been steamier. She’s dating Safaree while secretly juggling hot Latina model, Rosa Acosta – but will they all agree to share?
Lil’ Brandi, and her husband, Max Lux, fall upon good times, turned bad. Max receives a heavy payday, but in an act of betrayal, Brandi invests the newfound riches behind Max’s back.
Willie Taylor and wife Shanda Denyce are confronted with their own marital issues in the form of Kyesha, a rapper from their hometown of Chicago. With proof of Willie’s infidelities, Shanda questions whether their marriage can last.
Soulja Boy is ready to take over the world - his new album is about to drop, and he and Nia Riley are doing better than ever.
A1 and his fiancé, singer/songwriter, Lyrica are also new to the cast. This duo has long collaborated side by side in the “industry,” yet their high-maintenance mothers, Lyrica G and Pam, threaten their upcoming wedding plans, as the two vie for control over the young couple’s life.
The season 3 premiere is MONDAY, AUGUST 15th AT 8:00pm EST on VH1.
In other rapper news, not everybody is concerned about a reality show:
Jeezy teamed up with his Street Dreamz Foundation to donate 2,500 backpacks full of school supplies to students in need in the Atlanta area on Sunday. The backpacks and supplies will be distributed to students at local Atlanta Elementary schools in the coming weeks. Nice! Jeezy has upped the amount of backpacks for the kids. He gave out 1,000 last year.
Rapper Lil Jon, music executive Shanti Das (through her Hip Hop Professional Foundation), radio station HOT 107.9 and Walmart all dropped donations in the Backpack Blessings Back-To-School Drive. So, Jeezy and Lil Jon purchased an additional 1,000 backpacks, and there were more donations from sponsors and local participants.
