We’ve been following the recent string of celebrity home invasions. And now, police believe the robberies might be connected.
You’ll recall, Chris Brown’s home was robbed (where his aunt was held at gun point) and thieves stole money and jewelry in July 2015. Blac Chyna was jacked for $200K in May 2016. And just last week, Kevin Hart had his home invaded where crooks took over $500K worth of ish.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department has been piecing together clues from the invasion and now they believe the robberies might be connected. Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disick’s home was also robbed recently and he was included in their investigation.
According to TMZ, Chris, Kevin, Chyna and Scott are markers in all of the burglaries that make detectives think the crimes are related. With Chris, Chyna and Scott pretty much running in the same circle, law enforcement believe the culprit(s) could possibly be someone closely linked to them. We knew Kevin's situation sounded like an inside job.
The site says the burglars knew exactly where to look for jewelry and large sums of cash which is an indicator that the burglar(s) is someone they may know.
As of now, there still aren’t any suspects, but it seems law enforcement is closing in on who the burglar(s) may be. As the saying goes, have to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
