Before she wows us with another incredible performance, YBF chick Teyonah Parris is hitting the promo trail for the upcoming Miki Howard biopic. And she’s looking every bit of fabulous.
The Chi-raq actress stopped by “Good Day New York” styling in a black floral print Ted Baker midi dress, Miu Miu sunnies and blue fringed bag to edge out the look. The “Survivor’s Remorse” starlet will star as Miki Howard in the TVOne television film. She’s been making her media rounds along with R&B singer Miki Howard. Her big premiere goes down tonight in NYC.
The Miki Howard Story, helmed by director Christine Swanson, will chronicle 30+ years of Howard's life, both professional and personal trials and triumphs, including her relationships with the men, like Gerald Levert, who played instrumental roles in her life. Former “Family Matters” star Darius McCrary will play the late singer.
It’s a star-studded cast with “Single Ladies” star LisaRaye playing Sylvia Rhone, “Being Mary Jane” star Gary Dourdan as Augie Johnson, Django star Amari Cheatom as Eddie Phelps and “Shameless” star Vanessa Bell Calloway as Josephine Howard.
The Miki Howard Story will premiere June 12th at 7pm EST on TVOne. We're HERE for it!

Alicia Keys is still riding high on her #makeupfree campaign as she promotes her upcoming new album and her new single “In Common.”
The 15-time GRAMMY winner trekked it to popular British TV show “The Graham Norton Show” to perform her new single and to dish on her new album.

Upon arriving, she headed straight to the United Relay at Prospect Park in Brooklyn for a charity run. She posted a picture of herself holding a baton on Instagram captioning, “The @unitedrelay ended earlier today in BK. Relays happened across the country to raise money for @weareheremovement! Passing the baton reminds me how working together is what makes it happen. Love to everyone that took part today! Blessings!!”

“Rocky Horror Picture Show” actress Christina Milian was spotted making her way inside 1Oak nightclub in West Hollywood. And it appears she’s jumping on the #makeupfree bandwagon.
A fresh faced C-Milli kept it causally cute in a pair of distressed jeans, a white jacket and black pointy heels. Christina is gearing up for the premiere of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" FOX series set to debut later this year.

Former reality Nicole Murphy was spotted picking up a few grocery items at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood earlier this week. And her body (after 5 kids) has us running to the gym to renew our membership. Again.
