“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey is confirming what most of us already knew. She and her husband Peter Thomas are separated.
After wrapping up a tumultuous season of "RHOA," the former model is speaking out about her trouble marriage to Peter. She confirmed to The Daily Dish that she and Peter are separated and that they live in different households.
Since tying the knot during season 3 (2010), Cynthia said they are now trying to figure out the next step in their dissolving relationship. You’ll recall, their marriage was put to the test when a video surfaced online of Peter feeling up on another woman during a drunken night out in the club.
She spilled:
“Peter and I are separated. He lives in Charlotte, and I live in Atlanta. I am definitely taking some time to myself to figure out how I want to move forward. I don't want to rush into anything, so I think this time apart is good for us. And I think the space apart, I think he can appreciate it as well. I think it gives people time to think and process and just move forward in a way that really is healthy for everyone involved."
The couple tried many attempts to salvage their marriage, but it appears separating is what’s best for the both of them…for now.
Now, Cynthia is just trying to remain positive about the situation and is focused on herself. She said,
"Regardless of where I am with Peter, he is my husband. I will always love him, and I will always support him. And I believe he feels the same about me. Whether or not we decide to stay married or not, that's something that we have to decide soon. But right now, I'm enjoying the time apart, taking time for myself."
Whatever they decide, we wish them both the best.

“Braxton Family Values” star Tamar Braxton is back to being active on social media. And she’s pulling palm trees over her former “The Real” co-hosts.
The R&B songstress isn’t holding her tongue about how she feels towards her former co-hosts despite each of them showering her with love after it was announced she was leaving the daytime talk show.
A fan posted up a meme of Tamar giving Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and Tamera Mowry Housley the side eye with the caption “When you in a room full of phony b*tches, best to distance yourself” where Tamar hopped in the comments and replied, “pretty much.” Bloop!
While rumors have been circulating that there’s bad blood between Tamar and her co-hosts, it appears she and Tamera are still on good terms. She posted a string of kissy face emojis on a recent picture Tamera posted.
So that long video Loni posted? Yeah, Tamar isn’t trying to hear it. Thoughts?
