The 2016 Billboard Awards kicked off at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas tonight to celebrate the music industry’s biggest and brightest stars.
“Empire” starlet and singer Serayah, who plays Tiana Brown on the hit FOX series, rolled up on the magenta carpet to indulge in the festivities.
She strutted her stuff in a black Baja East crop top from the Spring 2016 collection paired with the brand’s black Fall 2016 trousers and Jimmy Choo heels to round out her look.
On the carpet, the 20-year-old singer gushed about inking a deal with Columbia Records, joining her co-stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray. She said her bestie Taylor Swift advised her to always “be yourself” to succeed in the music biz.

Serayah slipped into another look that was very similar to her carpet ensemble. This time, she brought springtime fab in a coral asymmetric crop top and matching trousers from the Baja East Spring 2016 collection.
She was tapped to introduce Meghan Trainor’s performance alongside “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra.
