FLOTUS never disappoints at a State Dinner. Well, she never disappoints anywhere for that matter.
Tonight at The White House, she and POTUS Barack Obama hosted five Nordic countries for a lavish State Dinner which was a show of unity against Putin's military aggression.
Aside from the political talk about Moscow's military buildup in Baltic countries and their continued economic sanctions, Michelle Obama slayed in the fashion arena.
She chose a blush off-the-one-shoulder organza gown by Naeem Khan. The draped bodice and cinched waist was perfect for the spring night as the dinner took place on the South Lawn.
It was definitely a non-traditional State Dinner as they hosted 5 countries at once instead of 1.
President Obama and the First Lady greeted the five Nordic leaders after they arrived at the White House: (l-r) Solrun Lokke Rasmussen and Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Sindre Finnes and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Ingibjorg Elsa Ingjaldsdottir and Icelandic Prime Minister Sigurdur Ingi Johannsson, Jenni Haukio and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, and Ulla Lofven and Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven.
