We have some Mother’s Day fab that will surely warm your heart. Come inside to see this super sweet conversation between Yara Shahidi and her mom Keri Shahidi, plus how the NFL honored the new draftees’ moms inside…
Happy Mother’s Day!
“black•ish” starlet Yara Shahidi and her mother Keri Shahidi, who is also an actress, is bringing the mother-daughter fab in a super cute conversation.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, the actresses sat down to chit chat about what they admire about each other, what they’ve learned from one another, and what they’re most proud of.
Yara opened her heart and gave a beautiful response when she talked about how her mother has influenced her career. She said:
“You have guided me throughout this industry so that I do what I love and I feel like that’s not common. What I learned was that you made the character whether it was a woman biting into cheese, whether it was us at the beach together, you made the character somebody who you aspire to be.”
Aww! So cute.
After gushing about one another, they both start spitting their cousin Nas’ song “Ether” together. It has us wanting to call up our moms and teach them the words. Check out a clip below:

In another Mother's Day tribute...
The NFL put together a cute video to honor the 2016 NFL Draft class' mothers. What a way to celebrate this Mother’s Day after seeing their babies make it to the league and create a life they worked so hard for.
Behind every NFL baller is a mother (or mother figure) pushing him to work hard, grooming his work ethic from a young age, and making sure he’s staying on a positive path to achieve his goals.
Get teary eyed with the moms above.
