Tony Award nominee Lupita Nyong’o turned heads when she stepped out on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala in a sparkling green Calvin Klein gown and her sky-high sculptured hair.
Once again, VOGUE tried to explain the Kenyan beauty's look to the masses comparing Lupita’s updo to Audrey Hepburn’s hairstyle in her 1963 VOGUE shoot.

Well, the Oscar winner hopped on Instagram to subtly, yet powerfully, school the magazine on the African influences behind her Met Gala hair-raising 'do. She did not get upset, she did not curse, she didn't have READ the publication. THREE words along with a picture collage is all that was needed.
