Big news for "Underground" fans!  The provocative drama just nabbed a second season.  More deets inside, plus what Kenya Moore just revealed about her pregnancy journey...

Jurnee Smollett, Aldis Hodge and the whole cast of "Underground" have something to celebrate today.  The WGN America runaway hit show just got renewed for a second season.

People have been singing the revolutionary show's praises everywhere, and having a cult following has paid off.

“Underground” was the #1 original scripted series on cable last Wednesday night across all key demos.  And for a hit show to be centered around
revolutionaries of the Underground Railroad who use their will and power to escape slavery....amazing.

John Legend, who is he genius behind the music of the series, said:

"‘Underground’ isn't just a television show. It's a movement. It is storytelling at its finest, and the brilliant work that Misha, Joe and our cast have done to infuse Underground with the kind of passion that’s made it part of the zeitgeist is incredible. This show does so much more than entertain, it inspires us to reflect on our past and learn from those mistakes to make a brighter future for our children. Thanks to everyone at WGN America, Sony Pictures Television and my Get Lifted partners Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius for putting their hearts and souls into ‘Underground.’ We look forward to a spectacular season two."

The show,  which was screened at the White House in February, is killing it on social media too. The series generates a crazy amount of tweets live during each show, making “Underground” the #1 most social cable drama on Wednesday nights.

In the newest episode of "Underground," entitled “Grave,” airing Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, the Macon 7’s perilous escape route to freedom takes them to Kentucky where they are met with suspicion by the local authorities.

The finale will air Wednesday, May 11, preceded by an all-day “Underground” marathon for fans to binge-watch the entire 10-episode first season, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Congrats!

Speaking of TV, "RHOA" star Kenya Moore made an appearance on Dr. Oz's show recently where she addressed those baby rumors.  No, she's not pregnant.  Yet.  But she is working on it.  Obsessing over it, in face.  Her words.

“I am working on undergoing IVF again in the next few months, so I hope to be a mother in the next few months," Moore said.

She also said due to her strained relationship with her mother, she's now "obsessed with it" when it comes to becoming a mother.

We guess Matt, her boyfriend, is A-Ok with becoming a daddy.
