Right after cancelling her JACKIE Tour, Ciara jetted to Nigeria to perform and to give back. Peep pics and videos of the R&B singer chanting positive mantras with a few kiddies and rocking the stage inside….
Over the weekend, Ciara jetted to Lagos, Nigeria to perform and to spend time with a few kiddies. Right before she hopped on the plane, CiCi took to her Facebook page to announce she’s postponing the second leg of her JACKIE Tour.
The tour was supposed to kick off March 30th in Anaheim, but chick decided she needed more time to work on new music and to work on giving an incredible show. This is the 2nd time she delayed the tour after it was originally scheduled to kick off in November.
New dates have not been made available as of yet.
While we’re sure her American fans are upset, her Nigerian fans were happy to see the “I Bet” singer swoop into their hometown this weekend. CiCi was in town to perform, but she also made time to give back.
The “Body Party” singer stopped by Ilado Community Junior High and The Akande Dahunsi Memorial Senior/Junior High School to chant positive mantras with the kiddies who were uber excited to see her. They also also performed some of her tracks for her. She dubbed the day one of the best days of her life.

CiCi also hit the stage at Darey Art Alade's "Love Like a Movie 3" concert held at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre. The “Goodies” singer invited Nigerian choreographer Kaffy on stage to teach her some popular Nigerian dance moves. Kaffy taught CiCi and her backup dancers how to dance to Iyanya's "Kukere", Tekno's "Duro" and Olamide's "Bobo.” Of course, she nailed them all. Check it above.
Ciara also performed some of her own hits including “I Bet,” “OH,” “1, 2 Step,” “Like A Boy,” “Dance Like We’re Making Love” and more. Peep the clips from her lively performance below:
She also performed a lap dance for a chick in the audience. Check it:
