Teyonah Parris, Yara Shahidi & Johnetta Elzie Serve 'Black Girl Magic' On Three Covers

We love a good dose of "Black Girl Magic."  Check out Teyonah Parris, Yara Shahidi and Johnetta Elzie's brand new Essence covers inside...

We've been girl crushing on Teyonah Parris for a while now.  From Dear White People sass to her "Survivor's Remorse" ride-or-dieness to her Chi-Raq boldness, we are all the way here for our fave naturalista.

The former "Mad Men" co-star has a skyrocketing career that she's grinding extra hard for.  So it's only right the talented YBF chick landed one of the three "Black Girl Magic" covers of ESSENCE magazine's February 2016 issue.

She gushed about being featured in the frst issue of it's kind saying:

What an absolute honor to grace the cover of @EssenceMag in their #BlackGirlMagic✨ Edition hitting stands Jan. 8th! Thank you so much to Essence Magazine and all the amazing talents that helped make this cover an absolute dream come true!! #ForTheLoveOfBlackGirls

Teyonah is now set to portray Mikki Howard in an upcoming biopic about the singer's life.  We've got the deets here!

The gorgeous & talented YBF teen Yara Shahidi of "black-ish" and activist Johnetta Elzie, who is one of the leaders of We The Protesters and was instrumental in the Ferguson protests.

Yara said about her big cover:

"Being a part of this reemergence of a movement both pro-diversity and pro-woman is the best part of being a Black girl," says 16-year-old Shahidi.

The magazine explained the new special issue saying:

New Cover Alert | Introducing the #BlackGirlMagic Class of 2016, starring @TeyonahParris​, @officialyarashahidi & @nettaaaaaaaa! Our February issue highlights young Black women who are not only embracing their unique gifts, but also redefining their world--and ours.
