Before the Miss Universe snafu seen and heard across the world, comedian/tv host Steve Harvey hit red carpet all smiles alongside his wife Marjorie Harvey at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas before he got to his hosting duties.
Mrs. Harvey was there to support her husband looking gorgeous in black strapless gown. With the Internet on fire after Steve mistakenly crowned the wrong Miss Universe, Marjorie hopped on social media today to gush about how proud she was of her husband. She said, “You are a Stand Up Man and A True Class Act the way you went back out on the stage on live TV and took full responsibility alone. I am so proud to be your wife! I love you”
Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith and his beautiful wife/former Miss Virginia USA Patricia Smith brought the coupledom fab on the red carpet.
Emmitt was tapped to judge the 80 contestants to choose this year’s pageant queen of the world. The former NFLer sent out his support to Steve after his mistake. He tweeted, "We all make mistakes. @IAmSteveHarvey you owned it. Let's celebrate the new @MissUniverse @piawurtzbach #MissUniverse2015"
Patricia, working the hell out of her black embroidered gown, had a full circle moment while attending the event.
She said, "Having a full circle moment!!! In 1994, I was Miss Virginia and competed in the Miss USA Pageant. I was devastated that I didn't fulfill a childhood dream to win and compete at Miss Universe. I now realize how amazing the journey was for me. Even though I was hurt and felt like a loser, I now know that it was an incredible honor to have made it to the Miss USA Pageant. The preparation and experience transformed and stretched me to new levels. I had to learn how to bounce back from a disappointment and keep fighting. I recognized that closed doors are God's way of directing us to the right doors. Well, I made it to Miss Universe today. Not as Miss USA, but as Mrs. Smith!!! And, I'm so excited to celebrate all the beautiful, intelligent and rocking women from all around the world!!!!"
Whoa! EMMY nominated actress Niecy Nash stepped out looking like a million bucks last night! She hit the carpet in a form fitting black Michael Costello jumpsuit and chick was serving all types of fabulousness. The YBF actress was tapped to judge the competition.

Emmitt and Niecy then snapped it up with judge/Miss USA 2012 Olivia Culpo.
After the show...
Steve personally apologized to both Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia. He posted the picture above with the caption, "I had the chance to apologize to Miss Philippines and I'm thankful. #godisgood #iloveyou I apologized to Miss Colombia as well."
